People did mention university life is so enjoyable and it
most probably not a problem for STPM graduated students because they had
experienced though study period in STPM, so-called university life,
interesting, enjoyable and full of happiness.
Well, I admit these are few parts of university life. In
fact, I would just state that so far my university life is the most challenging
state in my life. The way we gain knowledge, the deliverance of lecturer, the
problems encountered and the lifestyle were changed! It is just too challenging
and it is an hectic life I would say, despite the enjoyable moments.
Since last semester, our faculty, Faculty Environmental
Studies introduced Problem-Based Learning (PBL) which replace Student-Centered
Learning (SCL). Tons of assignments, researches, reports and presentations are
assigned. Lecturers also very emphasize
on the ability and way to interact and deliver the knowledge and information we have. Meanwhile, the most interesting part is we encountered several ways to
construct a presentation. Slides, posters and latest is video! We would notice
all are electronic-based! Highly glad that I’m not a IT inferior so I still
able to cope with it. However, the ways of lecturers evaluate our performances
are highly different from what we had encountered before this. The views and
number of likes in YOUTUBE, the evaluation on our current assignment, titled
WATER which target minimum 500 views and 250 likes. (MY GOD!!!... ... )
Hence, we make a video for this assignment which is presenting
our perspective on WATER, a global perspective as well. This is because current
global problem is the amount of water available for daily use is decreasing
tremendously due to several factors which mainly caused by anthropogenic
activities. Although water is renewable resources, I would not have clean water
supply if we do not have the awareness to conserve water. Our goal is to
increase human awareness to conserve water because prevention is always more
effective than treatment.
Our Mother Earth: WATER SHOULD BE CONSERVED, FOR US, FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS, AND FOR OUR ENVIRONMENT.
PLEASE SAVE WATER BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE.
(Lastly, can I ask for your favor? just follow the following instruction for the video assessment. A simple step: Click into the
youtube video link upside and hit the like in youtube.
Really Really appreciate it!! Thanks!:)
